Series 3 History-Time Line

1. There is a new major in town and SHE has decided that she has had enough of this ‘Clawman’ taking the law into his own hands. She also decides to do something about it and ordered Random Bishop to put a warrant out for the arrest of The Claw.
Random is upset by this and begins to wonder if he’s on the wrong side of doing right. But he can’t quit because he has a family to provide for.
Todd and his girl go on their third date. She can tell that he is keeping something important from her but he won’t tell her.
Forkliftman and The Conjurer unleash their robotic Tyrannosaurus Rex upon the city. Forkliftman refuses to accept the money that The Conjurer is able to conjure out of this air and he recommends they use their new ‘toy’ to go get some real money!
What neither he not The Claw realize is that it’s all an elaborate trap! When Forkliftman ‘bites’ down on The Claw only his boots are exposed outside of the mouth of the beast. On live television the reporters clearly see The Conjurer suddenly appear on top of the monster and quickly take a sample of the ionic bond from The Claw’s boots! He then disappears. The Claw is able to bring down Forkliftman but the ionic bond is now available on the black market. Forkliftman swallows a homing beacon when The Claw captures him.
Mind Wipe sees the theft on television and begins to plan on how he can get some ionic bond so that he can have his powers permanently…
At the “Prowlers” halfway house Carol is learning to develop her powers safely.

2. The mayor makes her next big, dumb (in Random’s opinion) move in taking down The Claw: she sanctions Company B to provide city-wide endorsed crime-fighting superheroes! The first in the line is Blue Lightening; an arrogant, fast-flying protector with an official cop’s badge, (with all the rights and privileges to go with it) and a warrant/order to bring The Claw in!
Random Bishop is really upset about this.
Forkliftman’s giant forklift follows his homing beacon and crashes him out of jail. With Forkliftman on the loose again Marla begins to think of ways to battle him... while Prof. Carter investigates the curious instruments/ equipment that powered Ring Blade’s weaponry.
The Claw goes head to head with Blue Lightening and comes out on top from the high-flier.
Todd’s girl is even more upset that Todd is keeping things from her and won’t open up. She is worried since he won’t tell her where he really works or what he is doing. Todd doesn’t like to keep secrets from her and starts to feel bad.
The Conjuror tries out the ionic bond on himself and permanently bonds his technology to himself! Mind Wipe goes to The Conjuror… who wants him to put together his permanent mental powers.

3. On Todd’s third date he tells his girl a part truth: he used to be married but was killed in a lab accident. He leaves out the part that the lab accident was caused by super heroes and villains and that is what motivated him to become one himself! For revenge!
Marla already knows the details about Todd’s marriage and his wife’s ‘mysterious’ death. Having been the one Prof. Carter talked to before hiring him he clued her in to his story. She thinks about Todd and decides maybe this is the best for him after all he’s been through.
With the Conjurers’ help Mind Wipe is able to use the ionic bond to permanently implant his crystal into his forehead for the ultimate mental power.

4. Mind Wipe and High Pitch decide to do a double-team to stop The Claw!
In the process Todd’s current girlfriend at his apartment, Melanie, is killed.

5. The Claw succeeds in bringing them both down. He tries to then destroy The Claw but finds he cannot handle the amount of power the crystal provides. The eventual side-effect was insanity-which committed his brilliant mind to an insane asylum. The Claw overtaxes his mind and it puts Mind Wipe is placed in an insane asylum. The Claw comes close to a line he’d rather not cross (killing them back!)
Now he wishes he had told her the truth – to help protect her. He vows to not make the same mistake again!
Marla feels bad about what happened to Todd – especially since he’d already lost a wife to a costumed villain. She tried to console him but he’d rather be alone at the time.

6. Prof. Carter is approached by his mysterious military contact to tell him it’s time (to try and lure Superior Johnston’s men out into the open).
Prof. Carter goes public and tries to warn the scientific community that there is an illegal, underground company operating outside the system. He shows pictures of Shattered Shard fighting The Claw as proof.
As a result, Shattered Shard attacks again. However, Prof. Carter… does not (or so they believe!) survive. His company is completely destroyed.
(The ReinForcers are on location to make sure Shattered Shard thinks he succeeded. Prof. Carter is not even on the company grounds! One of the ReinForcers is posing as him! The USA military made an agreement with USSR to borrow some of Iron Clad’s spray to keep him safe. The company was outfitted with controllable explosives and fire, like used on movie sets, to make it seem like Shattered Shard was doing what he needed to do. Once everything was safely taken care of and the necessary individuals were successfully evacuated the ReinForcers detonated the previously set explosives to make everyone think the company was destroyed. But in reality, everyone got out safely… and Prof. Carter with all of their research was safe, including Marla’s work on Bondman’s ionic bond rifle technology.)
The ReinForcers try to follow Shattered Shard back to his base but he gives them the slip! After all their hard work, they failed!
Marla and hundreds of workers are without a job/home and Todd doesn’t know what he’s going to do.
They attend Prof. Carter’s funeral and are unsure about their future… as companies and individuals. The Head of Innovative Inc. is at the funeral and watches Todd Ticket. The President of Sundown Inc. is also at the funeral, watching from a distance and wondering what the future of Intellect Defense might be. And Tremor of the ReinForcers watches with his team from even farther away. They can’t afford to have someone like Impervious selling super soldiers to Detonator!
